“The Irish nonprofit sector is extremely diverse and is critically dependent on the trust and confidence of the public and its stakeholders. To maintain and build this trust and confidence requires the leaders of nonprofits, its board members and managers, to have the knowledge and skills to govern effectively. This is an increasingly complex and demanding challenge that requires continual development and renewal. The Leadership Academy is a fabulous and much needed resource which we in Carmichael very much welcome and support.”
– Diarmaid Ó Corrbuí, CEO, Carmichael
“As leaders in the not-for-profit world, you are pivotal to delivering successful outcomes for the clients that your organisation serves. The Leadership Academy offers you a central location to find courses to support and develop your leadership skills. Having worked with leaders from many not-for-profit organisations over the last 2 years, feedback is clear that access to leadership skills is critical, never more so than at this time as we all navigate the complexities of our new working world.”
– Renate Kohlmann, Grow Remote Board Member & Leading Remote Teams Course Facilitator
“Investing in its managers is one of the most effective things a charity can do. The Leadership Academy is an inspired initiative to enable this. Tailor-made courses will equip managers to lead their teams effectively, thus improving services and preparing individuals to progress to senior leadership roles as their career develops. I will be recommending the Leadership Academy to all my clients.”
– Justin Kilcullen, Coach and Mentor, former Trócaire CEO
“The Leadership Academy is a rich resource of supportive guidance for both seasoned and emerging leaders in the Community & Voluntary sector. It’s incredibly useful for the sector to have a learning repository specifically tailored to the needs of leaders of Community & Voluntary organisations. I encourage colleagues to engage with the Leadership Academy – there’s something for everyone. I only wish I’d had access to something like the Leadership Academy earlier in my leadership journey.”
– Ian Power, CEO, Spunout
