Springboard+ is a government initiative aimed at upskilling workers. It is an excellent resource for those who are employed or unemployed. They offer free and subsidised courses at certificate, degree and masters level many of which can benefit nonprofit workers.
These courses lead to qualifications where there are employment opportunities in the economy. There are countless options across many disciplines. You can download the full course list here. These are some of the programmes on the list relating to leadership, all of them are part-time:
Fees
If you are currently working and you apply for a NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications) level 6 course, it will be totally free. Your fees will be funded.
If your course is Level 7, 8 or 9 then you or your employer will need to pay 10% of the course fee. More information on fees and on NFQ can be found on the FAQ page on the website here. They also have a helpline that you can call for free on 1800 303523.
